Card Condition

The Stone Dragon sells cards based on the assumption that they are Near Mint. This is not always possible, especially with older card sets. Should the buyer be unsatisfied with the condition of a card, please contact us via e-mail at sales@thestonedragon.co.za


Near Mint (NM) – Cards in NM condition may show minimal wear but are still close to Mint condition. Cards in this condition are generally indistinguishable from other cards in this condition.


Slight Played (SP) – Cards in Slight Played condition show minor to definite wear. Cards in this condition could have a number of issues namely, minor scuff marks, minor scratching, minor bends and/or minor border wear. We will inform you of the card condition before processing the order.


If you receive your cards and upon inspection believe some of them to be in the Damaged to Heavily Played range, please do contact us.


We offer a full, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee for any cards that are in the Damaged to Heavily Played range. Simply send us a photo of the card or cards in question and we will initiate the refund procedure.

Website Errors

In the event that a pricing error occurs which can be attributed directly to a problem with the integrity of the website software, hardware or database, The Stone Dragon reserve the right to cancel an affected order and issue a full refund.

Missing Cards

Occasionally our staff may have some trouble fulfilling a particular order if a card you requested was listed in the collections we bought but not physically delivered to us.


You will be contacted with the option to substitute the item with the same card from a different edition should one be available.

The Stone Dragon will always offer you a full refund either in cash, as store credit or via EFT.

Limits Per Customer

Store management may occasionally restrict sales per customer in the interest of giving more players access to popular cards.


The Stone Dragon therefore reserves the right to limit fulfillment to four copies of a particular card per customer at the discretion of store management.

Liability Cover

Full ownership and liability transfers to the buyer once the parcel is packed and collected by the courier company therefore shipping is done at the buyer’s own risk.


Fast-way provide limited liability coverage limited to R1000.00 per parcel.

Payment and Order Policy

We accept the following forms of payment:


  • Credit Card (you will be redirected to PayFast)
  • Direct Transfer / Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • In-Store collection

With Direct Transfer In-store options, we reserve the right to cancel the order if payment is not received within 3 working days. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that payment is made timeously to allow for clearing by the banks in order to be received by us within 3 working days.


Proof of payment must be mailed to sales@thestonedragon.co.za before orders are shipped.


Orders need to paid in full before they are released or shipped.

Product Release Dates

Products will not be delivered before the official release date. As such pre-order products and sets that aren’t released yet, will be sold through The Stone Dragon, but will only be sent out for delivery on the official release date.


A deposit of 50% is required to secure your pre-order. To be paid within 7 days of order placed. The pre-order will be canceled if not paid within the required time frame. Proof of payment must be mailed to sales@thestonedragon.co.za before orders are shipped.

In cases where pre-order items and other items are placed on the same order, shipping will be delayed until all products are ready to be shipped. If you would like to separate deliveries, please place two separate orders and pay shipping per delivery.

Return Policy

Only products that are defective due to manufacturing errors can be returned to us. We will contact the local distributor and facilitate replacement. No singles will be accepted for returns.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We will never sell or supply your details to a third party. The details collected by us are used for order processing and, if you selected it, email distribution. We will not spam you and any requests to be excluded from communication/distribution lists will be honored.
